Examples of Funded Projects:
Jointly with the Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC), OMJ created a three-year program to foster growth and development for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) serving the base of the pyramid in Brazil.
In an alliance to advance the agenda on how to address nutrition challenges in the region, OMJ, the corporate foundation of FEMSA—the leading beverage company based in Mexico—and the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) conducted a regional study to identify business models, with private sector participation, to reach the base of the pyramid by increasing and accelerating access to high-quality, affordable products that address specific nutritional needs of poor communities.
