Since its last report, the BERT MC has continued to receive reports from the Government of Barbados (GOB) on its progress for each of the months of July through September 2019 towards the targets agreed in the Memorandum of Economic and Financial Policies (“MEFP”) agreed with the IMF within the Extended Arrangement under the Extended Fund Facility for Barbados (“EFF”). This report coincides with the fourth set of targets under the EFF on which the BERT MC now comments, and on which the IMF executive board will conduct its second review under the EFF.

The United Nations Coference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) published a "Fact Sheet on Investor-State Dispute Settlement Cases in 2018" (IIA Issues Note, No. 2). The Fact Sheet provides an overview of known treaty-based investor-State dispute settlement (ISDS) cases initiated in the past year and overall ISDS case outcomes.
