Real Estate Services Under the Economic Partnership Agreement

The Barbados Private Sector Trade Team (PSTT) has received funding from the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) administered Caribbean Aid for Trade and Regional Trust (CART) Fund by the United Kingdom Department for International Development (DFID). Part of this project involved providing information on the Economic Partnership Agreement to Barbadian Private Sector organisations.

The Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) signed between CARIFORUM (the Caribbean Community and the Dominican Republic) and the European Community (EC) came into effect on January 1, 2008. Among other things, the Agreement covers issues such as market access for trade in goods, services and investment as well as other areas such as intellectual property rights, commerce, innovation and development cooperation.
